Ran my condenser dryer without the fluff filter

Morning everyone! Hoping someone has some knowledge of condenser dryers.

So last night I cleaned the filter on my tumble dryer and left it out to air dry and forgot to put it back in this morning. I chucked a load in it this morning in the dark so didn't notice I hadn't put the filter back in it 🤦🏼‍♀️

After a few minutes I could smell a burning smell so went to check it and realised what I'd done. Some socks and a pair of knickers had gotten into the filter compartment so I pulled them out and gave the area a Hoover. Will the dryer be safe to run again now? Or is there anything else I need to do? Ie. Could clothes have gotten sucked in somewhere they're not meant to go?

Thanks in advance!

Close to your condenser bottle you should have another filter, it is normally behind the lock in tabs at the bottom of the dryer, pull it out and clean it out as all the crap would have been sucked into there.

Theres probably a second filter called the condensor, on mine its at the bottom of the machine. Its a rectangle made of metal and the hot wet air passes through it.
I have to drop the flap on the front, release 3 cattches and it slides out.
Carry it level to your bathroom, bung it in the bath or shower, and give it a good clean. Its probably full of fluff if you've never done it before. You might have to unblock the plughole. You might find coins or socks in it.
Clean it every month, it keeps the dryer efficient.

On my machine this panel pulls open and the sump/consensor is behind it.

Ahh thanks everyone! I'll check the condenser when I get home from work tonight.
