Anyone pregnant and under 40 had covid booster early?

Hiya

Have any under 40 pregnant ladies had any luck getting their covid booster this week, since the NHS changed the wait from 6 months to 3?

I am am 16 weeks pregnant with my first and mid-January will be six months since my second vaccine.

Was hoping to get my booster today at the hospital but have heard loads of stories about pregnant women being turned away yesterday for being under 40.

The NHS tweeted in reply to one woman:

“pregnant women under 40 are eligible for the booster vaccine 6 months after their second dose. As of today, people aged 40 or over (including pregnant women over 40) can book their vaccine online for 3 months after their second dose”

Even though, the NHS website describes pregnant ladies as “clinically vulnerable”, we can’t get it early.

If anyone has had any success or can share tips to persuading them, let me know!!! I guess I will wait to January if not but wanted to be extra protected over Christmas.

I’m 38 and have my booster booked on Dec 23rd. I could have had it sooner, but I wanted to push it a little further into the pregnancy (will be 18 weeks by then).

I'm 38 and 20+3 weeks pregnant. I managed to get an appointment for a covid booster today. You can also go to walk in clinic i believe it you can't get an appointment online. Over 30s can be vaccinated from today so there should be no persuading involved. It's open to our age group. Good luck x
