New sofa arranged to be delivered today by 6pm. Old sofa in front garden waiting for council to collect tomorrow.
6pm comes and goes, no sofa. Spent 20 minutes on hold, someone tells us that the driver will be with us by 8.30 and that DH didn't answer his phone. Turns out they took DH's number down wrong. DH asks him to correct the number - don't think that has been done.
Still no sofa and no-one we can call. It's rained today so we can't even bring one of the old ones in to sit on. No answer on Twitter, left wondering why we paid £70 for delivery and DH took a day off work.
No real point to this thread other than GRRRR.
