Calling all parent taxi-services! What do you do in the hour you are waiting outside a club?

It's my first venture into the world of taxiingGrin as up until now clubs have either been at school or a 5 minute walk from home.
I'd planned to go to the cafe at Sainsbury's but it shuts early.
I could do the food shop but I'd quite like to do something not so useful or boringSmile. There's nowhere around to go for a walk either.

What do you do? Read a book? Do the finances? Knit?

I have to wait outside in the car for an hour while DD4 does her dance class. Can't drive away anywhere. 6 or 7 other parents do the same.

I take a hot drink if it's really cold.
I read emails and mn on phone a bit but tbh 75% of the time i just stare out of the window Grin There's a farm next to the carpark and cows and horses and general comings and goings to watch.

Why can't you leave? Is it not worth teaming up with some of the other parents so it's not all of you each week?
