If so, do you rate it? Looking at 8kg condenser. Cannot believe how hard it is proving to find somewhere with a dryer in stock! TIA.

Yep, had it for years and never a problem. I hope I haven’t jinxed it by writing this.

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 08/12/2021 13:40

Yup - we’ve had ours a couple of years and (fingers tightly crossed!) no problems. It’s quiet and it dries stuff.

hilbil21 · 08/12/2021 13:43

We do. A heat pump one. It's good, no issues Smile

Squirrelblanket · 08/12/2021 13:45

We've got one and it's brilliant.

Rosielil · 08/12/2021 13:45

Music to my ears! Thank you!

Moderate. I’ve just inherited one in my new house. It’s only a couple of years old and it’s ok but often doesn’t dry completely unlike my Bosch

RandomUsernameHere · 08/12/2021 13:52

Me. It's an 8kg condenser, about 3 years old and very happy with it so far.

eddiemairswife · 08/12/2021 14:07

Don't they catch on fire?

ineedaholidayandwine · 08/12/2021 14:10

Thanks for the thread OP, i need a dryer too, wanting a heat pump one and the Beko's sound good, stock however is awful!

Starcaller · 08/12/2021 14:14

We have a Beko condenser dryer. No complaints! Everything comes out bone dry and been using it heavily for five years with no issues.

SpiritInTheNight · 08/12/2021 14:16

I just got a Beko heat pump tumble dryer on AO as there was no stock of vented ones anywhere.

I’m really pleased with it!

pastypirate · 08/12/2021 14:18

I've got a beko condenser. I bought one from fb martlet place for £80 4 years ago. It started failing couple months ago but I used it to death.

Bought identical machine from a used appliance dealer for £110. It is pristine. I love it it's perfect.

I went 2nd hand again because it was so hard to get a new one!!

JadeSeahorse · 08/12/2021 14:29

I bought the 8kg condenser from Beko 2 years ago for my dd and it’s a great machine for the money.

Would definitely buy one again.

ineedaholidayandwine · 08/12/2021 14:31

Can those of you with heat pump models please please share the model number?

Tricked2003 · 08/12/2021 14:40

Mine is 10 years old and still going strong!!! I also have a Beko washing machine and dishwasher....... I would recommend 😁

DraigFach · 08/12/2021 14:42

I've been using Beko tumble's for years and never had an issue...however I'm not an idiot and clean the filter after every cycle.
SpiritInTheNight · 08/12/2021 15:04

Mine is Beko DHR83431G 8Kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer

madisonbridges · 08/12/2021 15:09

I bought an 8kg condenser in the Black Friday sale. Couldn't find a 7kg one anywhere. Now glad I went for the 8kg one. So far, so good but it does take more than one drying session to get towels dry - even on the extra dry setting. Also, after I bought it, my sister told me there was a better model that had an eco button rather than an eco setting. She said that made drying cheaper. I don't know how that would work but I've learned not to question! 😉

ConstantlyIrksome · 08/12/2021 15:13

I've got a Beko 8kg condenser, it's 7 years old and I literally never empty the fluff out unless it orders me to. It's never caught on fire and does the job fine. Now I'm on child number 2 though I am finding a bigger drum would be useful though as it does take a little while to dry a full load (maybe 1.5 hours at a guess?) but it depends how much laundry you do. My basket is NEVER empty.

Thank you!

@Oneforthemoneytwo and @madisonbridges, that’s exactly what I don’t want to hear! My 12 year old Bosch has died and I can’t get one for love nor money. Am heartened to see it’s not just my area that has a shortage! Okay, I’ve ordered it and will cross my fingers. You guys seem to give Beko good reviews overall. We have had a Beko fridge-freezer living in the garage and it has been going strong for nearly 20 years. I do want dry towels and bedlinen though and it will do many, many loads a week!

OP posts:
madisonbridges · 08/12/2021 15:31

Sorry about that. Bed linen is not a problem but towels do take longer - depending on their thickness I suppose. Anyway, we got it on the recommendation of others who think it's great so I'm sure yours will be fine. Maybe it's just mine - or my towels are super luxurious. 😉

AbsolutelyFuckinFabulousDarlin · 08/12/2021 15:37

I've had all singing, dancing, bleeping, pinging, auto weighing washing, dumble dryers
Bought the cheapest dryer I could get after they all died after a short time and call out fees 🙄
Not a condenser but it has never gone wrong
Probably about 10 years old now.
I'd buy Beko every time now

TitilatedOcelot · 08/12/2021 15:44

I have a Beko heat pump one. It does a much better job of drying than the Miele one in my old house and was half the price.

DroopyClematis · 08/12/2021 15:46

Another Beko condenser dryer owner here. It's brilliant.
We chose it as it is guaranteed to work at low temperatures ( in a garage )
Beko freezer for the same reason.
