Asda staff! Colleague discount...

My son works for Asda and has given me a colleague discount card. When we read the pack it came with it said it can't be used for online groceries (disappointingly as this is the only way I shop!). However a friend has one and said her dad set hers up online and it works.
Does anyone know how to do this? I asked my son to check with work, but after a year of asking... I'm turning to mumsnet to help

Yes you can use your Asda discount online but you need his WalMart ID not the the discount card, do you have that?

Yes it works for online grocery deliveries ( to colleague address)
Also works for George.com

The double discounts tend to only be in-store though ( one coming next week)

And for this week only friends and family have been able to shop in-store and get discount by showing a picture of colleague card

I've been putting the saving aside each week and it fairly mounts up over the year!

Yes we do, or I wouldn't have asked. Half the food is for him .
Can you see the Walmart number on it, you need the full thing, my son didn't think the first 3 digits counted, but they do.

I have tried to set up one for my 97 year old father who retired from asda about 30 years ago! When I try to register his card, it says his Walmart number is not recognised. The one he gave me is a 10 digit number starting with 140.
If anybody can help, that would be amazing. I've been doing his shopping online for the whole of covid and he has not had any discount for all that time. His card does work if he goes into the store (but that is very rare). I spoke to pensions to check his number but they would not speak to me (reasonably) only to him, but being 97 and hard of hearing, it isn't that easy for him.

Why is my Walmart number not recognized online by Asda mobile,I worked there for 28yrs,so keep discount card for life, anyone help,as i left 10yrs ago.
