Anybody having problems downloading kindle books

Trying to download a book but it either gets to 98% and then goes back to queued or tells me I need to connect. It's happening on both my ereader and the app. I tried using my hotspot instead of home wifi and was getting the same so tried resetting my ereader with no luck

Wifi is working fine for everything else

Apparently some Amazon services are down so that's probably why!

Yes, I just had this! I kept removing it and re adding until it worked. I have kindle unlimited, I was trying to download book 3 in a series and was getting very frustrated!
In the 5 minutes I wasn't reading, I had to talk to DH.

Is there any further info when it will be back up and running?

Kids need kindles for school tomorrow (English)

I had this earlier but tried again a few minutes ago and it worked for me then.
