What's your favourite quote?

I really like this one below. I think it is because Ive faced a lot of challenges but kept going despite a lot of set backs.

Life’s not about how hard of a hit you can give… it’s about how many you can take, and still keep moving forward.” ― Rocky Balboa

Mine is from Buffy. It’s at a pivotal moment just before things change massively. I’ve had my fair share of trauma and I hold on to this:

Whistler: [narrating] Bottom line is, even if you see 'em comin', you're not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it does.

[long pause]

Whistler: So, what are we? Helpless? Puppets? No. The big moments are gonna come, you can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts. That's when you find out who you are.

Billy Joel - "I don't care what consequence it brings; I have been a fool for lesser things"

I try and remember that when I'm nervous about trying something because its so true.

“Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” — Bernard Baruch. (Often wrongly attributed to Dr Seuss)

"Do what you can, with what you've got, where you are." - Usually credited to Theodore Roosevelt, but he said he was quoting - Squire Bill Widener of Widener’s Valley, Virginia

I was thinking of the latter last week when I got to the campsite and realised I had forgotten the poles for my tarp. No use thinking about "if only..." I managed to find an old branch and cobbled something together.
