Work Christmas Party Cancelled Again

I just need a moan really.

Last year the work's Christmas do was obviously cancelled.

This year, it was meant to be on this Friday. But it's been cancelled today.

I actually left the job a couple of months ago but was invited to the event and was looking forward to catching up and seeing everyone again. I asked when they announced the new variant if it would still go ahead, apparently it was all okay until someone has changed their mind today.

I know nothing can be done etc etc but I just feel really down and fed up with it all. I've had other things cancelled last minute this week so I'm just feeling really rubbish.

It's disappointing, but not really a surprise.
It is probably also the right decision.

Mine has been cancelled too. Not really surprised.

That's pants. Hope you've got some other events to look forwards to.

Ours is on Friday. I sort of wish it would be cancelled too because I’m really not feeling up for making small talk after a loooong week.

I think you need to look at the bigger picture.
