Interview anxiety HELP!

I have a big interview on Thursday and I'm so anxious I'm actually considering withdrawing my application. I know that's crazy but it's horrendous feeling like this. Can anyone give me any tips , either to help calm me or practical interview techniques?

It's for an internal position. I usually keep my head down at work, I don't know why I thought I'd apply for this😭

Preparation is key. If it’s internal can you get your hands on the questions? That way you can prepare some examples that can be adapted to the question.
I like to actually write out some examples based on the STAR format that way I know in my mind the details of the example. I then read over these a few times.
Over zoom I have had a sheet of paper next to the iPad that I can refer too. Not the detailed examples as that would be too much writing.
If it’s over tech check that everything is working beforehand. If it’s on-site make sure you know where you’re going.
I always perform my best when I’m hydrated and not high on caffeine so I make sure I have enough water beforehand.
I also have a drink in the interview. It’s a decent technique to take a sip of it before answering the question to give you time to think.
Make sure you know about the company / team / role as you may be asked.
Have some questions prepared that you can ask. Nothing too generic as it will be obviously you’re just asking for the sake of it.
Good luck.

Thank you very much. Not heard of the STAR format, I'll google it. Thank you for your help and good wishes x
