Lost/ missing parcels

Any one else having this experience? My parcel has literally just disappeared from the tracking system of a particular courier company😡.

Yes. With Hermes and Royal Mail. Seriously pissed off with it

Yes with DPD, I ordered a particularly coveted advent calendar for DH & tracking remained at we’re waiting for you or parcel.

After a week the company refunded me as the parcel was apparently lost.

Wow, so lots of parcel theft. I wonder if they need more security, cameras etc at the sorting hubs as that is where they magically disappear. So sick of it now, it has really put me off shopping online. Heading out to the shop’s from now on!

Don't be so quick to assume theft. I've had things go missing for 3 weeks the turn up. They couriers are on their knees this time of year, without the extra load that the increase of online shopping (from Covid) brings, plus having to deal with sickness and people isolating.

Yes especially with RM and Hermes but they always get delivered.

I’ve got two missing from Hermes which were supposed to come Friday. I think there’s a lot of deliveries delayed especially this week as a lot people shopped around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I’ve been okay with Royal Mail deliveries though.

Ours was delivered and left on our doorstep and was stolen by 2 passers by - picked up on our cctv! Hermes weren’t remotely bothered (how surprising 🥴) that I have set my delivery preferences for my Parcels to be left in a safe space when no one is home. Funnily enough that safe space is not “on my front doorstep on a busy street” 🙄

I ordered something that was showing as despatched, but not yet received by the courier. That was two weeks ago.
