I sold a wine rack and some wine crates via Gumtree a few days ago. The buyer was aware of size etc. because we had to rearrange collection as she originally only had her bike to transport them. She was aware I have a fractured foot so please to be patient as I made my way up and down stairs. On the second collection date she needed me to dismantle the rack with her, after which her three teenage children came in from the park to wait for the taxi with her.
Three. Two of them were about a foot taller than me.
Am I missing something about why you would ask someone in obvious pain to help you in this situation, when your children were outside?
