Can I gain weight fast and how?

I'm too skinny. I am extremely self conscious about it but I know I don't eat enough. I have depression and I know that has something to do with it.

I have a ball on the 18th and I'd really like to look a little less stick like but I know that's probably not enough time to noticeably gain weight and my arse not look like an American pancake. I wouldn't expect to gain LOADS but maybe look a little fuller?

Is this possible? And what can I eat to gain weight fast?!

I need to be eating 2500 calories + a day I imagine

My sister was ill recently and lost loads of weight, she has been snacking all day on top of normal food and she said the Gu desserts are something like 300 calories each so has been eating those.
Snacks like biscuits, chocolate, cake etc. she's living my ideal diet but unfortunately I don't need to put on weight

Don’t risk making your self unhealthy with bad food. Eat healthy food that makes you feel good and invest in some new underwear and/or clothes. I’m sure you look gorgeous just they way you are.

Potatoes, pasta, olive oil, butter, nuts, cheese, full fat Greek yogurt with honey, dried fruit, avocado, peanut butter, thicker slices of bread, dark chocolate, steak, pastry (things like quiche, cheese & onions pasties), soured cream in sauces, guacamole, hummus, cream cheese on crackers. All these will help and not TOO unhealthy and crammed with sugar.

Full fat drinks like coke have loads of calories, milkshakes. Anything with added protein and carbs. Enjoy all the food and snacks!!

White bread toast with lashings of butter
Takeaway like McDonalds, or really greasy takeaways like pizza.

Echo some PP who've said avoid healthy fats likes nuts etc. They are satisfying and you won't be hungry after eating them, so go for calorie dense but nutrition light foods.

I'd fucking love to stuff my face all day with loads of chocolate laden crap Grin

OP I hope you ignore the advice to binge on junk food! You can gain weight without eating sugar (trust me, I don't eat sweet food and am 2 stone overweight).

I have always found the pie, chips & beer diet to be highly effective for the purposes of weight gain. Add a full English breakfast for maximum benefit.
