Is this normal for Argos?

Ordered an item to be delivered tonight between 7-10pm as I knew I would be home.

My original email said they would send an email when they are on the way but received nothing all night and still No delivery now it's past 10pm.

Just wondered if this is something Argos does? No contact? Not delivering when they say?

Don't usually do delivery with Argos I tend to pick up in store.

Are you able to track it?

I've ordered loads with Argos delivery and have never had a problem

On the Argos account it just says 'sit tight we are processing your order' but has all the correct delivery date and time on there.

Just thought I would receive an email if they are delayed at all. It's a Christmas present so plenty of time to still be delivered but I'm busy most of the week so was hoping to just get it and be done with waiting in.

Nothing in junk mail either.

I spoke with someone on live chat and the reason was the parcel was missing when the van was loaded.
They've managed to sort it so I'm getting it tomorrow now.
