Concussion advice

My DD, 16, has concussion, came to A and E on Thursday. She has been feeling rough, as expected.
She vomited once this evening so I’ve bought her back to A and E, she has been triaged.

It’s a 7 hour wait and the nurse has left it for me to decide if she waits or we go home to contact GP in the morning.
The guidelines that the hospital go by state that 2 episodes of vomiting is cause for concern.

I really don’t know what to do. Advice much appreciated please.

@Shallysally, what did you decide to do and how is your DD now?

@Rememberallball I spoke again with triage nurse who said that the doctor wouldn’t send DD for a scan with only one episode of vomiting. DD was struggling in the light so opted to come home. I set my alarm so I could check on her every couple of hours. She’s been asleep all night so hopefully that will help.

Fingers crossed but keep the threshold for getting her seen by someone fairly low for a day or two x
