Sending children to school with a cough.

DS is 11 and has a persistent cough been off school since Thursday. Obviously had a PCR done (negative) I'm really in two minds about whether to send him in tomorrow. It's a chesty unproductive cough, thinking back these things have lingered for weeks in previous years. Seems worse inside better outside maybe a bit more moisture in the air helps.

Give him a LF in the morning then Do what you would have done pre covid.

My kids have hacking coughs, I test them each day and they go in if negative

DD1 has had a cough for 3 weeks now. Common for her in the winter. She’s been tested and is negative. I’ve had to send her in, because she can’t have months off school for a cough!

I don't have any lfts left at home but will pick up a box tomorrow. It is rubbish we have panto tickets on Sat but it's a community thing and think he'd be unpopular on the coach. Such a shame as he missed the halloween party due to illness as well.
