Suggestions of what you're getting for your parents / in laws please.

I'm stuck for what to get my in-laws. They're in their 60s both work. He's something to do with church and she's something to do with social care (not naming specifics on purpose)
Not really much hobbies except cooking, reading and holidays between the two. They're both technology literate.

We are getting my parents a ridge wallet and smart watch....

I’m confused as to why you’re buying for your in laws? My DP buys for that side of the family and writes both our names on the tag. I buy for my side and do the same. Surely your DP should be sorting this out as they know them better?

Budget?

What sort of books?

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 05/12/2021 17:06

My dad is getting an Easter Island statue for the garden.

He’s always liked them and he’s getting harder to buy for.

He can look at it while he’s gardening and think of me!

Oh FFS - maybe the OP wants inspiration for her and her husband?!

Suggestions for me and dp obviously. I just appear to be more organised and I will do the whole ordering thing etc

Cooking related:

Someone on the bargains thread linked this excellent charity who do virtual cook along demonstrations: www.migrateful.org/classes/

Or The Spicery kits/subscriptions very popular if they like world food: www.thespicery.com/

Or I’d be very happy with this!
Edible Atlas And there’s loads of other great foodie gifts on that site.

Do they have a garden? What about a nest box with camera? We got one last year and got to watch great tits building a nest and raising their chicks. It was amazing! Can't wait for this spring!
