Anyone know how to use these?! They have 8 flashing functions but I just want them on static and to come on when it gets dark and go off automatically! I have lost the instructions! Help me please!! Xmas Confused

Are they the battery ones? They usually stay on for 6 hours after you first switch them on then come on at the same time on the same setting for 6 hours every subsequent day.

No, Mains. I have battery ones like that and they are easy!

Sorry, not sure then, we use a smart plug for our mains ones.

Any mains ones that I have bought don't have a timer, just different flashing settings. I have separate timers that I plug them into.

Is there a button with a green light in? If so it might be similar to the 6hr battery ones. Turn on 8hrs before you want them to go off (so on at 3pm to go off at 11pm), make sure button is green, and they should do it by themselves.

I think the button does go green but how do you make sure it’s on the right setting (I.e not flashing?) is it a case of finding the setting first and then pressing the button? Do I need to hold it down?! It’s hard to know whether it’s done right and last night they stayed on all night so clearly not set properly!

Do they definitely have a setting where they will go off after a certain amount of time? I switch mine off before bed

Happyface120 · 05/12/2021 09:58

With mine you have to press and hold button for 3 seconds until it lights up, then you can scroll through the settings to the one you want. As long as light still on then should be fine. Mine go off at a funny time as I've never managed to be in the house to set them at 3pm Grin

Brilliant thank you! Will try that later when it gets dark!
