Family days out always end shiittt

I can't think of one family day where it hasn't ended in arugmemts is this normal??? I literally cried silently driving back home from said day out I just want a happy normal family 😭

I think it is more common than you think.

Can you pinpoint the reason? is it kids squabbling, or is it more you and your dh?

It's a shame isn't it when a whole nice day out can very quickly do a U turn. I think we all wonder why we bother sometimes. I'm sure the children will just remember the good bits though so I'm sure it is.

Sorry you had a few tears but having a bit of a cry and letting it out can also help.

It's 99% always because of my 14yr old, he just didn't wanna be there so was miserable going on the while time bout going home. I told him not to come but no he said he wanted to and yet the min we got there attitude was awful. There's just no pleasing him at all. It's always this way doesn't matter what we are doing always ruins it 😭
