Dd2 is 6 tomorrow and having a party. This is the first proper party she has had.
I'm stressed out I haven't organized a birthday party in 20+ years since dd1 was young and then it was everyone around my mums backdoor running about gave them all crisps, sweets, lrn bru a slice of birthday cake then they all went home.
I've hired a hall booked a balloon magician fuck knows what he does. I've ordered a cake and cupcakes. I've bought clear Christmas baubles and a ton of craft shite for everyone to make a Christmas bauble. I've wrapped presents for pass the parcel made a shitload of party bags. I don't know what else you have at a party.

I've bribed my 3 sisters to come with the promise of alcohol I've got bottles of wine in the fridge. My Sil's are doing the food.
Do parents stay if they do will I offer them a glass of wine or is that a no-no.
Party is from 2 till 4.
Unfortunately, no one has cancelled.
Please tell me all your party secrets.

At 6, I'd be surprised if parents stayed.

A couple of party games either side of pass the parcel, like musical statues would fill some time, but if there's a hall, they're all just gonna wanna run riot tbh! Take some plasters! (Only half joking!).

We did glitter tattoos at one party and they went down a storm, but a bit late to sort anything like that out.

You do have music don't you?

Don't offer anyone wine, you'll need it all to aid your recovery!

At 6, around here, most parents stay.

I'd not offer wine.

That's my fear @JuneOsborne that they all run about wild and my sisters ignore them sitting in the corner drinking wine 😂
Hopefully, the parents stay @MrsFoxyplease
