I had a home party over a live stream and zoom last night and it went into today. It was hugely enjoyable but on the other hand, some poor feelings emerged where I started reminiscing about the past. I am middle aged now and I started thinking about where the past 10 - 15/20 years went to since I finished school/my early 20s.
I'm actually shocked with how fast the time with by and with how life took so many people into different directions and into different continents. Eventually, after a few hours and loads of drinks - I even started crying because I saw some of my family online and it's been years since I've seen them and I miss them so much. Covid doesn't help things due to travel bans and borders shut.
