Footwear recommendation please

I'm a trainee teacher and on my feet all the time.

My feet have ingrowing toe nails, bunions and they hurt a lot.

Can anymore recommended shoes/books/sneakers that are smart enough for school but are cushioned etc please

It was dress down day today. I wore my trainers and it was bliss!

I wear Vivo barefoot. They’re dead comfy but not cushioned. A few teachers and ta’s in my school wear Doc and black Vans/Converse… the leather ones.
But we’re a pretty casual bunch in our school

I was told to wear proper footwear when I wore my uggs so I'm thinking too casual unfortunately:(

Would sketchers be smart enough? You can get some quite plain slip on ones that don't look like trainers.
I've had a few pairs for work and am on my feet all day, they're always the comfiest for me.
