They quite often have fairly big discounts. I got our 15C Max for £160 as there was £80 off on Amazon when I got it.

And were you pleased with it?

Someone I know has an iRobot and it is really loud !

Starcaller · 03/12/2021 14:07

Yes, he's amazing! He bimbles round every day quite merrily and I only get the proper hoover out for the odd awkward space he can't get in and when someone spills something! Oh and the stairs.

Parker231 · 03/12/2021 14:08

We have a Muzili - got it from Amazon last year on a Black Friday offer. It’s brilliant- especially with dog and cat hair.

AlCalavicci · 03/12/2021 14:10

I have a Eufy too and love it .
Mine is the basic modle 11s have had him about 2.5 yrs . It cost me about £180 ish straight from Eufy .

If you do a advanced search on MN with my user name and Eufy / robot vac / robot vac parents you will come up with loads of threads with lots of good advice on the best ones to get for your needs ( long hair / hard floor / pets etc )

£200 Is a lot of money but I would replace mine as soon as I could if he dies

HeyMicky · 03/12/2021 14:11

Our Eufy is called Bertie and I love him. He doesn't "map" the space but it's fine having him just bumbling about after breakfast and supper collecting crumbs and dog hair

123Suprise · 03/12/2021 14:13

My Eufy is like my second husband but sooo much better.
Having said that I did find him trying to eat the Christmas Pringles yesterday. Had to scold him.

BlueSkyeThinker · 03/12/2021 14:18

I loved our Eufy and things were good for the first six months. The joy of a no-effort hoovering! The horror of how much low-level dog hair he collected! But then he broke down and a painful period ensued in which Anker sent me six (6) 'refurbished' replacements, all of which also broke down. It got to the point where I was almost scared to email them in case they thought I was running some kind of scam.

They finally sent a brand new one, (fair dos, full marks to their customer service team) and that was fine until this week, when the dread Four Beeps of Doom began again.

I may have been unlucky. But sadly I fear my Eufy love affair may be over. (Eyes new Dyson Animal V11)

Lavenderosemary · 03/12/2021 18:49

Roombas are great. I've had them since they first came out decades ago. Now if my current cats would stop pissing on them and destroying them that would be nice as they cost a bomb....

Anycrispsleft · 03/12/2021 19:04

I've got a Vileda. It was about 80 euros. I love it.

Inastatus · 03/12/2021 19:10

Another vote for Eufy - it’s brilliant!

Anewchicken · 03/12/2021 19:13

I’ve had a roomba iRobot for about 8 years now , I absolutely love it . But dream of having a little blue minion to do everything for me, like the one in the phone advert

123Suprise · 03/12/2021 22:48

I'm hanging on for stairs eufy - would be the total game changer.

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 03/12/2021 22:54

I have a roomba-he is called Dave. He maps where he’s been, he recharges himself and then carries on-he’s fab! The only issue is if ever the DC let the toilet roll spin out in the downstairs toilet, then Dave will troll around like an Andrex puppy 🤪

AlCalavicci · 03/12/2021 23:00

@123Suprise me too , I imagine it tho be a bit like a slikny vac one step the slink down to the next one Grin

My Eufy survived been booted down the stairs a while ago , I had a arm full of dirty washing and did not realise he was at the top of the stairs as I launched the washing down Shock

Poor Eufy. Was he ok?

When I first got mine I was hovering around him like a nervous parent when he was dealing with the landing area. 😃

Toomuchtoodo · 03/12/2021 23:05

I have a Roomba called Ronny. He scratched all my skirting boards and pulled the tassels out of my rugs, so after I repainted I didn’t use him again.

AlCalavicci · 04/12/2021 14:02

@123Suprise

Yes surprising he was fine , he started making a odd loud buzzing sound of and on about 3 weeks later , not sure if I caused it or it would of happened anyway but he still risk a fine
