The way that Arthur died was horrendously painful to read about. I know a lot of mothers-and lurking fathers- will feel angry and heartbroken. But please can we not let his death be in vain? Can we all look to the care system and how we can help? I feel that adoption and/or fostering should be something that people consider more often.
There are kids like Arthur in the system. There are kids the system won’t pick up- I was one of them. But there are so many children who do get picked up and who need supportive, loving families to be part of.
