We're going to see the Superblue exhibition in London this weekend, and wondered about adding another museum/art gallery to make a day of it.

Can anyone recommend any good ones? Dc are teens.

The Museum of London is surprisingly good - it details the history of London from pre-historic time until now with lots of interesting exhibits.

I quite like the Museum of the Home, but it depends what your teens are interested in.

I'd recommend booking ASAP - so many things in London seem to be booked now until Christmas!

The weather is meant to be dry from Saturday lunchtime and all day Sunday, you could choose an area of London and just wander around. Or visit a market - Spitalfields and Borough Market are both nice to walk around (though possibly very busy!)

If you are in London on Sunday am then a trip to the flower market in Columbia Road is always worth it. Flowers and plants, obviously! Lots of little shops (all a bit metro but fun to visit) ,proper bagels and good coffee widely available and a must visit is one of my favourite shops in the world Angela Flowers perfumery shop, gorgeous stuff, smells divine. Market closes sharp at 1.00. Also what used to be the most amazing Spanish deli back in the day but is now a cafe.

Another unusual place to visit, but you would have to book and it might be too late for this year is the Denis Severs Georgian House in Clerkenwell, they always put on an amazing Christmas show.
