Are you going to a Christmas party?

What do you consider a Christmas party and are you going to one?

Some one asked me today and I can't remember the last proper party I went to.

Couple of work dos that are tea/dinner out mid week and get together with family and catch up with friends but no party as such.

I’ve got mine this weekend 💃

9 of us for pre party drinks then a party night. I’m looking forward to it.

All mine are with my walking groups and friends. Christmas walk (just a normal walk with a Santa hat on) ending in a pub for a get-together. I love it because I don’t like dressing up or staying out late.

Can't wait for ours. Three course meal and a disco at a golf club. 💃🏻

I have 7 booked so far and expect to get a few more invites for around NY. Can’t wait, and just hope they don’t get cancelled because of sodding Covid this time !

No parties, I can’t think of the last time I went ‘out’ to a party. Lots of times for drinks/dinner with a group etc but not actual parties with dancing (which I’m grateful for because I hate dancing ).
Going for a few ‘Christmas’ meals with a few groups of people over the next few weeks and will hopefully all manage to have a big New Year’s Eve party (there will be dancing but none by me).

Can't go to DH's due to babysitting issues.

I long to dress up in something slinky and sophisticated for the first time in 2 years.
