Hi all, looking for some advice also.
I’m 26 y/o living in Greenwich Borough, have no family in the UK and am in a house share (my rent is £500) a month, am single and have recently found out I am pregnant. My housemates won’t want a baby living in the house with us so I will have to look for alternative accommodation. The only thing is I won’t be able to afford it.. I am on £33000 a year so I am not sure if or how much housing benefit or support I would be entitled to. I would probably go part time which would bring my salary down to £28000 eventually but any support or advice appreciated ladies thank you x

Where is the father? It takes two to make a baby and he is resolved for looking after said baby too.

Check with Citizens Advice Burea to see if you are entitled to any financial support. On £28/£33 K pa I would doubt it.

How long have you been in your current job? Will you be entitled to maternity pay?
