What cloud storage do you use for your photos?

I've maxed out the storage on my laptop and need to finally join the 21st century. Feeling a bit overwhelmed by the options. Do most people pay a monthly subscription for online storage, or is it not worth it?

None because I don't trust them! I store them on my laptop, an external hard drive and on my phone. I also have them printed and put into albums.

Are there any good devices for sucking photos out of iPads and iPhones, and keeping them on some sort of drive?

Or is it a case of always having to go through iTunes?

My photos just back up to the cloud that attaches itself to my phone (first bit was free, now it's less that £1 a month) It seems fine

I use the Google Photos app. You get 15GB of storage free, & you can download back to multiple devices at will.

You will need to set up a Google account, & download the app, & then you will have the option to upload all photos from your device. You can set up folders if you like in the app.

I use Onedrive. Part of an MS 365 family package.

They are also stored locally on desktop and laptop, and I back them up on to an external hard drive too. Not that I am paranoid or anything.
