Boiling water tap question

We’re having a new bespoke kitchen fitted. The designer is very knowledgeable about brands and makes - he seems to know his stuff and is quite passionate about it which is slightly nerdy but excellent for us! He’s suggesting a Fohen boiling water tap. We’ve not heard of this brand and can’t seem to find many reviews for them. Other friends have said we should go for a quooker instead. The designer said he really guest think they are worth the extra expense. Other friends have said they’ve had bad experiences with quooker. We’re stuck! Do we pay extra for quooker (I’d say it would be around £300 more) or save our cash?

I utterly love our quooker tap. It guarantees 100 degrees boiling water which I don't think the others do. A friend has a Fohen and has had issues with temp inconsistencies.

I am quooker all the way they are worth every penny.

Hi OP

I went for a Franke Omni 4-in-1 - it has 100 degree boiling water, cold filtered water and 'normal' hot/cold water.

I've had it for 3 years now and still love it. I don't know how the cost compares with other brands; I got a great deal on an ex-display model.
