Specialist car seat advice

I’m re-posting here from the SN section. Can anyone help with advice on specialist car seats please?

I am struggling to find a replacement specialist car seat for DS who has outgrown his stingray car seat. He reached the weight limit (36kg) and was really too tall too at 158cm anyway. We are now using a crelling harness, but ideally need another seat.

I have been looking at the Wallaroo, and while the weight limit is 48kg DS is too tall.

I have also come across Hercules XL suitable from 37kg. Has anyone got one or another suitable car seat?

I’d recommend speaking to the in car safety centre. They’ve got a couple of shops from memory but they give advice over the phone too.

Yes, I'd also recommend the in car safety centre. They'll be best to advise, I think they also have links with companies that make bespoke seats.
