My DS (1 years old) has tested positive for covid, today is the 7th day and his symptoms is mainly spiking temperature every day since testing positive. He has a mild cough and runny poo few times (not constant).
I have spoken to 111 NHS and they have advised waiting till tomorrow to see if his temp is still spiking. His breathing is normal etc. Still can perform some of his usual tasks like playing when his temp is not spiking!
My question is have any of your 1 year olds/ babies had covid with high temp lasting this long? Or has it lasted longer?
