Best undergarments thermals for a goalie -
Our 11 year old is fairly new to football. What do keepers wear to stay warm.

Today she came off saying her neck was really stiff from the cold. Looking for recommendations for all undergarments. Thank you.

My 11 year old isn't a goalie but when it's really cold (like today was) the keeper in his team and the one in my older child's team tend to wear a neck gaiter which they can pull up over their lower face, a hat, and warm tracky bottoms instead of wearing the kit shorts. If you can find something like winter running leggings which have a brushed fleecy lining, these might be better than the standard thermal leggings, to wear under the tracky bottoms.

My Dd used to wear skins which are like a base layer.
Primark sell fleece lined leggings which would help a goal keeper.
A hat would also keep some heat in.
Would gloves inside the gloves work?

My ds just wears underarmour from sports direct under football and rugby kit

Goalie mum here - a beanie is essential, and a snood. Thin silk gloves to go in their goalie gloves, nike thermal base layers, two pairs of socks, hot chocolate in a flask for half time and hand warmers too! x
