I'm in my early 40s and have a happy life with good relationships, I feel very fortunate. Despite this, I just haven't enjoyed being in my 40s. I was expecting a time of feeling at ease and a sense of peace. It hasn't really been the case (although I have enjoyed my life). Until recently that is. I'm getting little glimmers of a new mental head space where I'm a little separate from what's going on around me and more focused on how things feel and what I want to do. I feel less concerned with superficial things and quite excited about what might be round the corner. I'm probably not explain ing this very well but has anyone else had a similar experience? What is changing for you in this season and how are you using your new frame of mind? I'm keen to hear about how others have experience this time and also to hear your advice/suggestions.
