Do teachers get Xmas presents?

It's DD first year at school so not sure if it's the done thing?
If so I was just thinking of getting DD to make a card and putting a Costa voucher in. Any teachers on here would you appreciate that or have you received any gifts in the past that you have really liked? I imagine 30 boxes of biscuits/mugs would be a pain!

That sounds like a lovely idea and I am sure it would be greatly appreciated. Presents are not expected at all - it’s a personal choice, so just do what feels right to you. It’s always the thought that means the most, rather than the gift itself, so the card alone would be very nice indeed.

Perfect present choice!

Perfect present! I love to receive cards that the children have written themselves and it’s always nice when the parents write in a note of appreciation 😉
