Fire HD 8 Kids Pro tablet - can kids search google?

Thinking of getting one of these for my kids. The eldest wants to be able to look things up on google. Will he be able to do this? Does it have a search engine or is it just apps?

Forgive my ignorance. I know nothing about all this stuff!

Yep they can search the internet on it, and use you tube, my son had one when he was little and loved it, a much better option than an ipad when they are small as amazon are great when things go wrong and it's a much more reasonable price.

Its not as 'quick' as an ipad, i did upgrade my son at 13 to an ipad but for the years before then a kindle fire is an amazing bit of kit for the price

For the next 2 days the 10 inch kindle fire is only 79.99 which is a great price, just in case you didnt know, id defo order it soon it thats what you are thinking of getting. An ipad with the same size screen will be 550 ish so its a fab idea for kids. The smaller screen version is only 39.99 , my son liked having a wee one to take places with him, i liked the bigger one for watching things on, so theres benefits to both.

Sorry just noticed you were looking at the kids 8 inch one, my son just had one of the normal ones. Benefits of the kids one is Amazon replace if the kids break it! It can still browse the internet.

How old is your eldest ? The kids version is only really up to about age 8/9. You can still access Google in the adult profile.
