Sulphur burps

All day I have had burps that leave a taste of sulphur in my mouth. Never had this before.

I do drink a lot of fizzy drinks s d google says this is a trigger but strange that it’s never been an issue before.

Anyone else had this and managed to get rid of it. It’s very unpleasant!!

The only time this happened to me I was struck by norovirus about 12 hours later, fingers crossed it is not the same for you.

Yes I'm afraid this has only happened with a stomach bug before-usually afterwards though

Also, had some weird burps and strange smelling breath after a course of antibiotics.

I got this in Tunisia - shortly followed by the worst food poisoning/bug I’ve ever had.

I’ve had them before/during a terrible bout of heartburn and acid reflux. Try some gaviscon

Have you had COVID? I got this when my sense of smell returned. Weird I know!

Well tmi but have been on the loo all night.

I’ve had covid in September and taste and smell aren’t properly back so would love to think they are returning!

Can be a symptom of Giardia infection.

So far no tummy bug but remember getting this as a child. Veggie for 12 years and never had it again....until today. In one week my partner and I started each day with a bacon sandwich while we were off....today full blown sulphur burps. I also drink a few fizzy drinks but that has never been a trigger.

Had it twice and both times was the first signs of a stomach bug
