No. Please do not waste those hours of your life. It is terrible.

cheesiestwotsit · 27/11/2021 21:03

It’s really bad

LubaLuca · 27/11/2021 21:03

I thought it was absolute twaddle. Don't let that put you off though, give it a go and device for yourself. Plenty of people must have enjoyed it for them to keep it on.

HopelesslydevotedtoGu · 27/11/2021 21:05

I really enjoyed it actually! It took a few unexpected twists

Imabitbusyatthemoment · 27/11/2021 21:06

I thought it was great! Fab twist at the end.

PipeOfPringles · 27/11/2021 21:06

It's nuts. Starts off like your average trash but is truly bonkers. Kind of in a shit way, but I enjoyed the tangent it took in a kind of Shock way

SpideySenseTingles · 27/11/2021 21:07

I enjoyed it and thought the acting was superb. The ending is very marmite.

StoneColdBitch · 27/11/2021 21:09

I thought it started well but turned totally bonkers. The ending was pure shite. Avoid!

BuffaloHigh · 27/11/2021 21:10

No. It’s hilariously bad at the end.

ExPatHereForAChat · 27/11/2021 21:10

Mostly enjoyed it but really disliked the ending

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 27/11/2021 21:11

Oh gosh, tricky. I don't know what you other people like 🤣 I don't know anyone who's watched it irl. I like the wire, line of duty, homeland, hand maids tale, non violent good films about real things, just enjoyed Maid. Anyone want to predict if I'll like it?

OP posts:
pinkpanther84 · 27/11/2021 21:11

Really enjoyed it until the end

BringMeTea · 27/11/2021 21:12

Yes, well that's it isn't it? Pootling along then fuck me are you kidding me? Truly irritatingly shite.

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 27/11/2021 21:12

I keep starting things and watching a few episodes and giving up.

OP posts:
whatwhatwhatwhy · 27/11/2021 21:12

I liked it

Deadringer · 27/11/2021 21:12

I liked it.

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 27/11/2021 21:12

Sounds like it my be up my street then as I'll probably stop watching before the last episode 🤣🤣

OP posts:
thistimelastweek · 27/11/2021 21:14

Depends.

Don't want to give away the plot but it helps if you're not firmly rooted in real life..

OhWhyNot · 27/11/2021 21:14

No it’s absolutely rubbish

Ridiculous ending

And there is a second series

BringMeTea · 27/11/2021 21:18

Well I love the Wire and LoD so really do not, you will hate yourself for the wasted hours... Grin

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 27/11/2021 21:18

I'm fairly rooted in real life but I have had a few drinks?

OP posts:
Cakecrumbsinmybra · 27/11/2021 21:20

Right, I'm going for The Talented Mr Ripley which I watched nearly 20 (😳) years ago, and I LOVE the book. Thank you, you helped.

OP posts:
unicornpower · 27/11/2021 21:20

Don’t bother!! I read the book first as heard it was good but it’s a load of claptrap 😂 the actress who plays the main character is probably the best thing about it!

BringMeTea · 27/11/2021 21:21

Ha ha. I have the French original cued up of that! Plein Soleil on Prime. I have high hopes as love The Talented Mr Ripley. Enjoy!

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 27/11/2021 21:24

Oh wow, just looked that up, never heard of it. Gets great reviews, I have prime so will check it out. Thanks!
