I have covid and im scared

Ok so i dont know if im posting on the right part here and i dont know if posting is going to help my anxiety or make it worse but im currently lying in bed with covid and terrified.

I am an anxious person anyway but i feel like this time theres a genuine reason to panic..

I have a 9 month old who is unwell but testing negative and my partner is testing neg too, im trying to keep out of the way in a spare room and have mask handgel if i need to come out but at the mo im lying here so worried that im going to die or pass it on to my baby...

I think i need a hand hold.. i feel unwell in the sense that i have a cold and the odd aching feeling but now im starting to worry that im short of breath and getting pains in lungs but i dont know if ny anxiety is heightening it.. im obese and had both of my jabs, been told by a pharmacist that it sounds like the delta version..

You'll be ok.
I had it 3 weeks ago (I work in Special Ed). Felt awful for about 3 days ..like flu.. then just exhausted and grotty. I still haven't got my taste or smell back, and feel a bit breathless, but I'm a hell of a lot older than you and came through it ok.
My DD2 got it.. and her 7 month old baby.. and her dh, who is very vulnerable, as an asthmatic type 1 diabetic who smokes (idiot!)...and he's ok too.
Relax.. it will pass!

You'll be fine - your jabs will stop it developing into something serious. As you are isolating you are unlikely to pass it to your little one, but even if you did, he/she would likely be asymptomatic; it doesn't seem to affect children unless they have underlying conditions.

OP I've just had it. It felt like a bad cold but I slept for the better part of a week. Keep the windows open and stay in a warm bed drinking fluids and taking paracetomol. You're going to be fine.

I'm so worried I have covid, my partner has covid, I took a test this morning and it has a very faint line , so I have a drive through test later, but I'm terrified

It’s just the flu renamed. You will be fine if you have a normal, healthy immune system.

Why are you so scared? Are you CEV? Unvaccinated?

Yes I have 2 jabs, I suffer with anxiety and depression too .

You'll be fine. Do your mindfulness and whatever else you've been taught to deal with your anxiety.
