Weather conditions / mobile phone signal Ashbourne / Leek area

We've been trying to contact DD since early morning but no reply to texts or FB. Can also see that other family members haven't been "active" since last night. It's quite important so would anyone know if weather conditions in the Ashbourne / Leek area are affecting mobile signal?

There's a serious problem in the area with BT apparently. Estimated "issue solving" date is Wednesday! I guess this may be over-estimated allowing BT to get praise for completing ahead of schedule :-)
