Simple explanations if possible Grin

The easiest way to learn, as with most games, is to play.

Shall we start with Cockfosters?

Redshoeblueshoe · 27/11/2021 15:04

Funnily enough I was trying to explain this to my DH yesterday.
I gave up, because it makes no sense.

That’s a bold move so early in the game if I might say so myself.

I have no choice but to invoke Gilligan’s manoeuvre taking us to Temple.

IntemperateSpirits · 27/11/2021 15:09

Are we invoking the Bradfield exemptions?

ShowOfHands · 27/11/2021 15:13

I think perhaps Mrs Bradfield's condition, the ensuing enquiry and the incident with the magistrate means the exemptions no longer apply. In which case, we probably should have Covent Garden before Temple

Latenightreader · 27/11/2021 15:15

Bradfield? On a Saturday? I hope you have extra red tokens and a pair of wellies...

WayneKorr · 27/11/2021 15:19

Ah so it's the Emperors new clothes in game form? Everyone pretends to know but nobody does?

WeAreTheHeroes · 27/11/2021 15:21

Now then @WayneKorr, Mrs Trellis will be writing to complain.

Samantha wasn't right for weeks the last time that happened.

I'll play safe with Barons Court.

ZZTopGuitarSolo · 27/11/2021 15:39

Now that the borders are open I'm going to suggest Grand Central NYC, but only for those who are double vaccinated.

Scarby9 · 27/11/2021 15:41

If we told you, we might have to kill you.
Are the lifts open on Saturdays in November at Barons Court?

WayneKorr · 27/11/2021 15:44

Pahahahahahahahahahahah I'm so glad I asked

I thought I’d have to declare bust for this move but then spotted Snaresbrook.

Couldn’t see the wood for the trees!

Nillynally · 27/11/2021 15:49

Omg I love this. I'm just a keen observer, please continue

Now we’re getting the measure of the opposition.

A more experienced player would have remembered the magistrate’s verdict was delivered in two parts … although of course the second part is less well known.

To refresh your memory @ShowOfHands, (and of course, enlighten the OP) the second part details events leading up to the August ‘89 uprising, including, of course, the Handicap Hurdles which deemed the move to Temple completely feasible … as long as it was the 4th Saturday in November, naturally.

Latenightreader · 27/11/2021 21:56

Three Js, means I can invoke the Chigwell loop and get to Hainault facing the right direction to avoid nib.
