There must be an easier way!

My 5 year old has just progressed from a harnessed seat to a booster with seatbelt.

However I just can’t find a way to fasten the damn thing easily. Reaching right across him to plug the belt in is a nightmare usually resulting in him being elbowed in the face and me showing my arse to everyone waking past!

What am I missing? What’s the best to quickly and successfully fasting a car seatbelt with booster set?

Can't he buckle in himself? And you just pull yo make sure it's tight and secure

Yes I’m afraid this is how it is for a year or so and then the magical day comes when they can buckle themselves in.
