Best American pancake recipe

I love American pancakes but whenever I make them they are a bit shit.

Does anyone have a great go to recipe they can share?!

Weird though that pancakes and Yorkshire Puddings are very smilar ingredients .
Though if you makes Yorkshire Puddings with SR flour they will die a sad little death in their tins .
Plain flour , they practically climb out of the oven !
