I am tired and sad, trying to work out how to do Christmas (DH died 10 weeks ago, I have 2 primary school aged DC). I thought we might put up the tree this weekend. I don't want to but DC do. But I can't reach to get in the attic because I am very short and live in a house with very high ceilings. I have asked my dad several times when he has been at my house over the last couple of weeks and remind him while he is here. He says yes but today he went home without doing it again. I am sad that now I can't do something I didn't want to do anyway!
