Need help with Little rhymes for advent calendar

This year DD will be having my old advent calendar (see photo) which was made for my by my aunty in 1982. My mum lovingly filled it with little presents, some of which were too big to fit in the little boxes. On these occasions she would write a little rhyme with a clue, put this in the box and hide the gift somewhere in the house.

All well abd good but... I am crap at writing poetry. So, dear Vipers, can anyone here knock up a couple of rhymes ?
Some hiding places might include my desk drawer, the piano stool, her roller skates bag.

Sorry god knows what's wrong with my iPad

As we race towards our Yule
Excitement builds and carols rule.
To find a gift that’s very cool
Look inside the piano stool

Is it hidden by the gates?
Is it hidden with the plates?
No, to find the gift today,
Look at where you keep your skates.

Oh my goodness you see I knew I would get some marvellous stuff here !

Dear reader, now, this clue relates
To the bag that holds your roller skates

To find your gift today you’d better
Find the place where mum writes letters.
Look inside the sliding drawers
To find the advent gift that’s yours

Definitely going to have to get a novelty ice cube tray for the cool gift 😆

Hidden in the bookcase
In the tub of hairdryer/curling tongs/straightener

Where straight gets curly with great care

Amongst the things that style your hair

Looking in places seldom seen
Where kiddies like to get their kicks
Assembling things from tiny bricks

Today begins another year
Of keeping up traditions dear
To keep you on your festive toes
Some gifts are hidden - where? Who knows!
To find them you must follow clues
Written mostly to amuse
For joy and laughter- they’re the goal
To capture in your festive soul
So know that you are loved so dear
Not just in Advent, but all year.

Advent clue 1 went down a treat. Dd was thrilled with her treasure hunt.
Is there any possibility you could do one for Christmas Eve, the last one. It will be a little basket of goodies which I will hide amongst my shoes
