I am so sad and shocked that this young girl was with friends when an argument with some boys resulted in her death. I am just so upset by this seemingly mindless violence.
I know it happens but with the boy stabbed in London a few days a go and the murder of Bobbi-Anne McCleod it's sad how violence seems to be a response to arguments etc.
Just really upset me today.

Apologies, it was at 20.40 pm, but still no excuse.

Yet another tragic and unnecessary death that has resulted from the pandemic of Violence against Women and Girls.

x2boys · 26/11/2021 13:09

Yes I have just seen it on the news
A fifteen year old boy who lived near me
was stabbed to death a few months ago ,it's just mindless violence ,the other two boys involved were the same age ,one was found guilty of murder and the other of manslaughter last week ,all these cases are utterly tragic

It’s just awful, poor thing. What makes a pre teen stab another Confused

Goldenbear · 26/11/2021 13:16

So very sad and senseless, that poor child and her family.

It’s very distressing. Any violence is awful but she was so young and a whole group of boys setting on a younger girl is particularly appalling.

Winniemarysarah · 26/11/2021 13:21

@ABCeasyasdohrayme I suppose. Just posting what’s common knowledge around here, nothing the police aren’t aware of.

Yes, a set of boys - how disturbing.

Winniemarysarah · 26/11/2021 13:26

@HollowTalk

I was so shocked by this. Does anyone know whether she knew the boys or whether they were complete strangers to her?
I don’t think people are allowed to say anything. I posted some facts and it’s got deleted.

Its not about what the police know, its about the potential of an unfair trial.

NerrSnerr · 26/11/2021 13:31

@Winniemarysarah if you want there to be a fair trial and for justice to be served please don't post 'facts' about the case. It could affect the trial.

Dentistlakes · 26/11/2021 13:33

It’s horrendous. I was reminded of a video I saw a while ago of a girl being kicked under a train (fortunately stopped at a station). The unprovoked violence shocked me.

The language used to describe this poor girl’s injuries suggests quite a savage attack. I dread to think what went on, but it’s yet another case of male on female violence. Shocking the suspects are so young.

The ‘facts’ about the murder as well as the boys name, face and address has already been shared a few thousand times across our local pages. As well as all the posts from the multiple witnesses. I don’t think my post is a going to make a difference to the trial. If the little bit that I posted had to be deleted then threads like this shouldn’t be allowed at all, as it’s all going to be full of people posting opinions and questions and assumptions. How are they allowed and ‘facts’ aren’t?

ABCeasyasdohrayme · 26/11/2021 13:57

The ‘facts’ about the murder as well as the boys name, face and address has already been shared a few thousand times across our local pages.

People are always in such a rush to insert themselves into someone else's tragedy that they post opinions as facts and don't think about the consequences of their actions.

I imagine the posts on Facebook will be taken down, and there's the potential for people to be charged as well depending on what they are sharing.

Your need to post your opinion could very much impact the right of the girls family to get justice, and they are the ones who are important here.
