Changing robe - cheaper Dry Robe alternative

DD13 has asked for one of these for Christmas and I've just had a look at Dry Robes and they're super expensive. Has anyone found anything that does the same thing? He won't use it much so not keen to shell out a fortune.
Thanks

I have a dry robe and love it. I recently bought an Annox one and that is of the same standard but was much cheaper. It’s on sale but the price has gone up from the almost half price sale when I bought it.

HUKD also posted a deal on an Osprey one but I don’t know the quality of the Osprey one.

I have one like the £23.99 navy swimming robe on Amazon, it dries quickly and can open out to be a beach towel, sorry don't know how to do clicky link.

Can you clarify if it’s the actual waterproof and wind proof ‘coat’ that he wants or the towelling one?

Gorilla robes are good. I think ours was about £33.

They are expensive but very sturdy - DH wrecks all his clothes but his dryrobe looks like new after years. And they fit over the top of regular coats so when it's cold you use them a lot!

Thank you, it's a waterproof one he's after
