Off to bed now. Alarm set for 6.30 but cats usually wake me about 6.

Minkribs · 25/11/2021 22:54

Try to be in bed for 10.30 and asleep for 11. Alarm goes off at 6.

EileenGC · 25/11/2021 22:54

Depends on work schedule, but it’s either 11pm-6.30/7am, or midnight/1am to 8.30 or so. Swap every couple of days. There’s always one day a week that is 1-7am.

I wake when my ds gets up, normally about half 6, then dose whilst he watches something on my phone until half 7BlushBlushBlush

I go to bed too late - usually 11-12, though a couple of times a month I'll crash at 7 when ds goes to bed. If I was left to my own devices my sleep pattern would be go to bed about 2am get up at about 12. I am one of life's big sleepers.

Ragwort · 25/11/2021 22:59

No real routine, can go to bed anywhere between 9 - 11, and get up anywhere between 6 - 8 ish. I work part time and don't start until 12 ish (apart from Saturdays), no DC at home so can be flexible... only need about 6 hours sleep but I read Mumsnet a lot in bed.

MadamMoth · 25/11/2021 23:05

Usually about 10 on average and always up between 530 and 6.

Workinghardeveryday · 25/11/2021 23:13

About now until 6.45 but I need a lot more sleep - never get it though...

mrsfollowill · 25/11/2021 23:23

12.30 am to bed and up at 7.10 Sunday to Thursday. Weekends bed between 1am- 3am and up at 11- 12 the next day. Total night owl but still need loads of sleep. Very partial to an snooze in my WFH 'lunch hour' and have been known to get back in bed for it Blush Feels a bit lazy but blissful at the same time! and I don't like getting woken up by an alarm twice a day but I feel very energised afterwards and get through loads of work in the afternoons as well as the mornings.

StillMedusa · 25/11/2021 23:39

Bed at midnight..up at 6.45. Weekdays
Bed at 2am, up at 8.30 ish weekends.
I've never been good at going to bed, I'm just not tired til 1am!
Bad nights it's 3-6am!

workwoes123 · 26/11/2021 06:07

In bed by 10, usually awake just before 6am. I’ve listened to / read a lot of sleep podcasts / books, and most recommend an 7.5/8 hour sleep “window”. I’m prone to insomnia whenever my routine is messed up so I try to ensure calm evenings and regular habits: doesn’t always happen sadly!

badlydrawnbear · 26/11/2021 07:06

I wake up when my alarm goes off at 6.45 on a school day and not much later on other days. I go to bed between 12.30 and 2am.

twosticksandanapple · 26/11/2021 07:45

In the last month I have been going to bed at 8.30pm and am being woken by my 2 year old who thinks 4am is a good time to start the day Sad

GrumpyLivesInMyHouseNow · 26/11/2021 07:57

10 is, usually wake around 6.30

CimCardashian · 26/11/2021 08:08

I work a lot of evenings, but to be honest I tend to go to bed at the same time work or not.

12pm/12:30pm sleep
7am up

LucentBlade · 26/11/2021 10:04

I’m retired so no schedule as such. Natural night owl so last night I was asleep around 1.30am and woke up today at 9am. DH has flexible working hours and is also a night owl.

Last job I had I had to be out of the house at 7.30 am so used to be in bed for 11pm and wake up at 7am. DH dealt with dc in the morning and they didn’t get up till after I had left, we lived less than 5 mins from school.

Switch82 · 26/11/2021 10:12

I’m getting the feeling from my informal survey we all need a lot more sleep!
