Just wondering how long it took everyone to get back into their pre pregnancy clothes. I'm 3 months and absolutely none of mine fit I've had to go out and buy all new clothes. Will they ever fit again or should I just throw them out Sad

About 2 months. Gained 20kg, lost 25kg. Breastfeeding, walking constantly with baby to sleep just couldn’t hold onto any weight.

Erm 2years in so far and nope not back in them, was fat to begin with as well (sigh).

HG in both pregnancies so lost weight both times - with twins I was tiny. Unfortunately I'm a post-partum piler, and since weaning the little buggers have been putting on 2lb a week Blush

If you were 8 stone @mumtobee22 then you can afford to not get back to that weight (although don't assume you won't).

I think it was about 6 months before I could properly fit in my normal jeans again. Some dresses and things my boobs just aren’t ever going to fit now.

I wore maternity jeans and loose breastfeeding for ages after birth without worrying about it particularly. I think I was back into some of my looser pre-pregnancy clothes by about 6 months. Back to normal weight by 9 months-ish, and quite a bit lighter than I'd been pre-pregnancy by 12 months. Breastfeeding a lot and constantly being on the move rather than sedentary at a desk helped.
