MP Nick Fletcher declares (more or less) that Dr. Who being played by a Woman is the reason why young Men are committing crime. Because of the apparent lack of male role models.

I sort of see what his ill-thought through message is about in needing more Male teachers, positive masculinity and whatnot, but really What The Actual Fuck?

I agree with him...I'm a woman and tbh in tired of men being demeaned and devalued in our society. Let's celebrate the differences between men and women!

As for more male teachers, if the pay was jacked up, schools would have to fend them off with a shitty stick.

Surely this surge in male crime because of Ghostbusters being chicks will be offset by all the girls no longer out on the rob and smashing things up because they’ve finally got some decent on-screen role models?

Tbh the doctor isn’t the greatest role model though, that Donna spider episode sees all the babies dye and he wasn’t going to save anyone in Pompeii either… maybe the doctor is to blame for crime
