Wish news sites had trigger warnings

Just that really. Titles about abuse and horrendous things like that really really upset me and I wish the titles were censored with a warning so you don’t see nasty titles. Just had to rant, not sure what I’m hoping to get out of it. I mean I could stop reading the news altogether but then I’d be ignorant of politics and general current affairs etc. Anyone else feel the same? I’m extra emotional as I’m pregnant but I always find these stories awful and struggle to get them out of my head.

Wouldn't be worse if you clocked through to the article? At least the headline warns you not to carry on reading.

Hmm true, I just find the titles really upsetting as well. I guess I’ll just have to not read the news.
